In this course you will be taught the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. Course Duration
Online enhanced learning with face to face is 2.5 hours online with 30 minutes face to face assessment or digital assessment.

Course Requirements
All Students completing this course must have moderate English.
You need to demonstrate a 2 minute continuous period of performing CPR on an adult manikin which must be placed on the floor. So you need to be able to get on your knees to perform CPR on the adult manikin. There are no other medical requirements.
Students don’t need to bring any materials or equipment with them to the course.
*For Digital Assessment an assessment kit will need to be delivered to your home - extra cost for Kit delivery will be added to course cost
All Students must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) prior to enrolling in and attending their course.
Course Assessment
Demonstration of practical skills. It is a requirement that CPR be demonstrated for a minimum of 2 minutes on the floor using a manikin, if this is not achieved you will not be marked as competent.

Recertification Requirements
This unit must be renewed every 12 months in line with industry standards.
RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is not offered for this course.
